By accessing or using the OPTIC platform ("Service") provided by Stratford Research Group ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
OPTIC is a political advertising intelligence platform that provides ad monitoring, analytics, and AI-powered insights. Access to the Service requires a paid subscription and a registered account.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled prior to renewal.
The Service includes an Ad Alerts feature that monitors political advertising activity based on criteria you configure. Alerts can be delivered via email, SMS text message, and/or webhook.
By selecting SMS as a notification method and providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from OPTIC at the number provided. SMS notifications are available to users on Business and Enterprise plans.
If you configure webhook delivery, alert data (including alert name, match count, sample ad data, and criteria) will be sent as an HTTP POST request to the URL you specify. You are solely responsible for the security and availability of your webhook endpoint. We are not liable for data transmitted to webhook URLs you provide.
Email alert notifications are sent to the email address associated with your account. By creating an alert with email delivery enabled, you consent to receiving these transactional messages. You may disable email notifications by removing email from your alert notification methods.
You agree not to:
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and data — are the exclusive property of Stratford Research Group and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivering alert notifications (email, SMS, or webhook) due to network conditions, third-party service outages, or circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information, including phone numbers provided for SMS notifications. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
